We wanted to stay in Merida but did not Bother with a reservation in late October. The price of 60 euros was probably appropriate. It appears to be a convention type hotel. Very busy at lunch time when we checked in, but not so much in the evening. We sat outside for awhile and drank our wine without anyone bothering us. The town itself is well worth the stop to see the Roman ruins. The hotel staff gave us excellent directions on our way south ont he morning we were leaving. OK place to stay while in route within Spain.

We spent one night at this hotel. We liked the dining room location near the pool with fountains. The hotel facility was adequate, but could use freshening. There is a pleasing view of the surrounding area; the hotel is on a hilltop.

Stayed in Las Lomas,Merida for one night travelling from Andalucia to Asturias. Overall we found this hotel in need of updating . Rooms reasonable size but everything shabby and well used. Had disturbed night as A/C not working properly and if we opened the window it was very noisy from the downstairs bar area. Definately not 4 star in our opinion.

I have been there on 9th May during a short trip to Extremadura and Andaluzia without previous reservations of hotels and sincerely this a wonderful hotel, overall if we consider the the price we pay. The service is kind and effective, the facilities very good, large rooms and well equiped and a breakfast above de average in Spain. You must have a car becuase the hotel is situated in the etxreme of the town or hire a taxi to go to the historical center.
