A short break in Jerez and this was a very good budget 2*/3* hotel. Its fantastic location gives a 2 mins walk to the central area of Jerez, close to the Market (which should not be missed, check out all the fish). This hotel is a real find. Its a couple mins from the central Jerez Post office and that should be the point of interest you punch into your GPS otherwise the GPS will have you driving in circles. Comfortable and clean rooms, flat screen tv and wifi in the lobby area. Breakfast is included and is typical spanish continental and is served by the reception/manager and eaten in the airy lobby area. The hotel only has a small number of rooms so book in advanced if you are planning a visit in the busy times. Was very good value. There is a carpark to the hotel but you have to get the key that is available at the time of booking limited spaces , is safe and locked, its about 500-600 yards walk away. A bonus as in all cities parking is like gold dust. Request a parking space at the time of booking

Our experience at Hotel Nova Centro was a nightmare. The double room turned out to have unmovable twin beds, the window faced the stairwell and there was no fresh air anywhere, the hotel clerk was rude and uncaring, not only to us but to the young men who came down while we were checking in and were locked out of their bathroom. The clerk shrugged his shoulders and after a good while handed them a bobby pin to try to get in. Although parking was supposed to be available, he at first offered us the parking lot for E17.50 per night, and only after much discussion did we find out we could get a sticker from him to park for much less on the street. We wound up cancelling our reservation, losing our money, and going up the street to the Hotel Avila, which for only a few euros more treated us with warmth and hospitality, as well as a room looking out on a geranium-filled terrace across the street and a double bed.

Hotel is near the center,and for 39 euros for a single room with TV , bathroom , hairdryer, and incl. breakfast, not bad at all.
Only the breakfast is from 08.30 in the morning.....

This small hotel is 10/15 mins walk from the train & coach station, and only 2 mins walk to the start of the town centre. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, despite not speaking much English. I booked via a website giving a breakfast inclusive rate - the decent Spanish breakfast is available 08:30 to 11:30 each day.

Rooms can vary, but 115 was a reasonable size, spotlessly clean, with a recently refitted bathroom to a very high standard. Only a few minor drawbacks - the window opened on an internal stairwell so no opportunity to get fresh air, the lighting in the room was quite dim, and no English language channels on the tv.
