“Good Price and Friendly Staff - good for short term stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2009

We travelled by taxi from the Jerez Railway Station and I am glad as would have found by myself. The side lane entrance was a little off putting at first but that is what most streets look like in Jerez that I saw anyway.
Our first room smelled like dirty water, they changed the room straight away. We stayed in the low season and go good rates from one of the websites my partner booked. The rooms are average size with a good size bathroom. There is no view of anything in the front rooms as they are covered with metal grills.
The staff do speak english some better then others, but they do make an effort. The hotel is not far from the old town centre and it is fun to walk the district to check out the sights. The hotel provides a basic breakfast and it is fine but dont expect bubbles and salmon. There is a garage a bonus in these towns, ask for more pillows as we found ours a bit flat. We asked for a no smoking room and got one at first but when we were moved the pillows stunk in the new room. We should have asked for new ones straight away again not there fault.

I reccomend that you stay here if you get a good room rate and it is only for one-two nights as it is not a hotel that you want to lounge around in. It is clean and comfotable.

“Good Value Hotel with parking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2008

Decided to re-visit Jerez and checked out this small hotel...2 or 3 star rating with a private locked garage to the side, in valuable in the city. The receptionist, Michael spoke very good english and was most helpful and had lots of local knowledge. The rooms have air conditioning, slide the key fob into the holder by the door and everyhting clicks on. There is a bathroom with over bath shower and a small patio area for relaxing, then the beds are down at the end, very spacious and lots of wardrobe space if required. Seagrass head board and chair and also a jacket/suit hanger. There is NO breakfast included, but go into the market square/plaza for Churros to dip in chocolate, delicious and fun...all the spanish are dipping!!! We would stay here again as a very good centrally located budget and value hotel. Set your GPS to the Post Office and follow the street down and after 4 streets on the left turn into a very narrow street and the hotel is there on the right, you can see the frosted green glass windows with the dark slate facer & the flags outside.

“Good Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2007

Good location, short walk to the sights and the action.
Seemed typical 3 star - room a bit odd though.
Pretty dark, had a private terrace but was just a concrete hot box. No view, no plants, just wall to wall concrete.
Room and bathroom clean, good shower pressure.
No Sat TV
Breakfast average - toast, juices etc
Internet access in reception is dinosaur dial up - took ages to page to load and you are charged in 10 min blocks.
Good lock up garage - very secure under the hotel, charged 17 euros.
Nothing wrong with this hotel, but maybe there are other places offering more value for money.

“Pefectly fine hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 June 2007

A good hotel with very helpful staff, located 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of old Jerez. Rooms were fine although a little dark; the facilities were all working and everything was very clean. Breakfast was fairly simple; a selection of juices, cereals, cakes and toast, plus tea/coffee. It was provided for free though, so no complaints. Parking for a people carrier required a little manouevering to get into the garage.
