This hotel is small but very well located, around 300 metres from the main tourist square in the town and about 1Km from the Cathedral and Alcazar. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area, including a supermarket where you can stock up with food and booze if you are on a budget. Needless to say, Spanish wine is cheap and excellent.
If you are coming in a car, the hotel doesn't have a car park (although you can stop outside - taxis permitting - to unload). The receptionist recommended I use a local car park but I chose to park in the street, which is closer and cheaper. The downside is that you have to return to your car to top-up your ticket but I was only staying one day and this wasn't a problem (in Spain you only pay to park at certain times of the day, the other time being free).
My room was very small but spotlessly clean with a good bathroom. This isn't a hotel that you will want to spend much time in (it's small and there are few facilities) so that was not a problem since I only used my room to sleep and clean.
The hotel has free access to the Internet using a desktop PC in the lobby, which is fine for checking e-mail. If you bring your own laptop, it has wi-fi but this is neither free (10E per day or 6E per hour) nor very reliable (I couldn't access it from my room).
The room also has a small TV, not that you will want to watch Spanish television, which consists of young, attractive Spanish people arguing about their love lives (I presume, since I don't speak Spanish but I know [--] when I hear it) .
Jerez is a lovely town and the location of this hotel helps you make the most of it. Recommended.
