Stayed 3 nights at the end of August, with another couple. The hotel is about 15 minutes taxi ride from the airport which cost 18Euros. It is situated on the edge of town, in a modern quarter, but the hotel building is an old villa, is elegant and attractive. That dirty carpet mentioned in previous reviews has gone! Lovely pool and pool area, discreet and polite staff, fino on the terrace in the evening sunlight, and good breakfast. We only had breakfast on the last morning (due to cost!) and there are plenty of cafes not too far away which serve coffee and tostadas for a fraction of the price. Did not see anybody eating a meal during our stay and got the impression that there is not really a kitchen, other than for breakfast.
Our room (204) faced the car park (the "pool view" rooms are more expensive) but it was not noisy and we slept well. Fab bathroom with a selection of showers! Good towels, comfortable bed, clean and well maintained. Yes, it is a good 20 minute walk into town, but a pleasant walk, and a taxi back will only cost you 5 Euros. Or walk half way back and stop off at the many bars and cafes for a night cap! Jerez is a delightful town with much to see. Visit a Bodega for an interesting tour and sit in one of the lovely plazas for tapas and fino whilst listening to live music. Would highly recommend Villa Jerez in the summer months to take advantage of the pool but, in view of its location, perhaps not so ideal in the winter when a more central hotel would suit.
