The Hotel Don Carlos is a 2 star rated hotel, on a pedestrian street, very well located, right near the Monumental center. The Reception staff were very friendly and kind. Car Park is available, which I recommend if you are traveling by car; although not being only for hotel guests (more like a building garage) and not side by side with the hotel, it's a 50 meters walk, and good enough to park the car.
The hotel is well restaured with ancient motifs at the lobby, stairs, corridors and halls. The room was more simple, not so funny as the common areas, but very interesting too. As for noise matters, the area is very quite but I noticed some noise from other rooms, inevitable I think.
The bathroom was spacious, not much extras but ok, good pressure shower. The only thing bad was about the towels, with a few stains. Although not being a big problem, because there were enough towels (without stains) available at the bathroom, it's always a bad thing.
We had breakfast included on the price, which was regular. No ham, cheese, eggs, bacon, but that's something normal at the breakfast's spanish hotels.
After all, I think it was value for money and I would stay there once more.
