Excelent Hotel! Spacious, the rooms are extremely confortable and modern. Love it!

We stayed at Hotel Barcelo V Centenario for one night in September 2008. We booked a twin room for 70 euros + 6.54 euros garage + 7% VAT. Total: 81.99 euros. There was a wedding reception taking place in the hotel that Saturday night so it was not possible to park in the crowded streets around the hotel and we decided to pay for the hotel's garage and keep the rental car in a safe place. Considering how busy it was at the hotel at the time of our arrival, the receptionist was able to cope with all demands with speed and eficiency.

The hotel had a swimming pool which we could not enjoy as the opening times were 11.30am to 20.30pm and our arrival and departure were earlier and later than the stated times. The hotel had a free wifi corner on the ground floor which we did not try either as we did not needed it at the time. A car would probably be needed to stay in this hotel, as it is not exactly in downtown Caceres. However, a taxi would be a good alternative transportation, as it is not too far away from downtown.

The room was modern, sophisticated, clean and spacious. It had a nice balcony with one chair. Two chairs and a table would have been better, though! There were good blackout curtains and several international channels on the tv set. There was a paying mini-bar and spacious bathroom.

Overall, we liked the hotel and would probably stay there again in the future.

We had red all of the reviews from this hotel and were a little bit ceptical, however we wanted a cheap hotel with pool and that's what we got. We paid less than 70€ for our bedroom, breakfast buffet included and they didn't charged us for parking (but I believe they don't always do this). The hotel is located in a nice residential area, we took around 10m to get to the center by car and parked at Galarza, it's around 1€ per hour. We noticed that many people that stayed in the hotels in the center used that park and it costs almost 12€ the entire day. The bedroom and bathroom were big enough, always very clean and the breakfast is buffet with the normal variety. All the staff was very nice and attentive. Overall I recomend this hotel for those that want to stay in a calmer place, with a pool and good facilities.

This is an average 4 star, very nice big pool (but not much space around it for sunbeds), rooms are big, clean and modern.

People ate front desk were very helpful giving directions and tips about town.

The center town is only accessible by car or transport.

Parking is kind of caotic.
