Many people have difficulty finding this place, and we soon realised where it must be but couldn't get there because of the one-way system. It's actually on a narrow one-way street running away from the Plaza Mayor to the bullring. We decided to save time by parking a couple of streets away and walking - we only had an overnight bag to carry. It is theoretically possible to park outside the door!
The hotel is a renovated townhouse and opens directly onto the narrow pavement, as did the windows of our room on the ground floor, so we didn't feel we could leave the windows open at night, though the street was actually pretty quiet overnight. Unfortunately the aircon was rather noisy, so we had a stuffy night.
The room was rather over-dressed for my taste, with eclectic artworks and dried flowers. A pair of footstools flanked the doorway to the bathroom for some reason. I would have preferred a table and a decent reading lamp. The worst thing was that the bed had a waterproof protective undersheet, which was very uncomfortable and clammy to sleep on. Surely the most basic requirement of a hotel is a comfortable bed?
Breakfast was basic but cheap - juice, hot drink and toast - taken in the pleasant patio.
