Clean comfortable tasteful hotel in a fantastic location. It is right on the Plaza Mayor facing the entrance to the casco historico. Perfect!

This is a single small luxury hotel located on the Plaza Mayor in this completely charming city with the ancient walled center. Completed in past 3 years. Hip cool style. Good sized room over,looking the plaza. If you are a light sleeper ask for a different room as the plaza rocks late in the summer. Staff helpful and courteous. No bellman. Bed a bit small for us but we made it work. As with all central hotels in these historic Spanish cities you park elsewhere and forget the car. This hotel has a discounted rate with the parking lot a couple blocks away. A bit tricky getting past the street post to unload bags at hotel. You can do it! Would stay here again because we really liked Caceres.

This is a fabulous hotel right in the very old part of town. The hotel is very modern and extremely well appointed. Staff speak good English and are extremely helpful. They will even provide you with a laptop you can take to your room to check your email etc, using their free wi-fi.
The old city with structures dating back to the time of the Romans, is across from the main square on which the hotel is located and it is absolutely wonderful if you like the feel of history all around you. All-in-all this hotel is an outstanding value.
Please beware that you cannot readily reach the hotel by car and you cannot rely on your GPS because, if my experience is anything to go by, it will try to send you into one-way streets, into 3 foot wide streets etc.
To get to the hotel take the Calle del Barrio Nuevo, then turn into the Calle del General Ezponda where you will immediately come upon a retractable post in the road that prevents you from entering. There is a communications post to the left of you that connects you to the police station. Tell them you want to drop off the luggage at the Casa San Fernando and they will remotely lower the post. Once you have dropped off your suitcases(s) you will have to take your car to the nearby parking garage. To get there, put Calle de Piedad 17 into your GPS which should get you to the parking garage at the Plaza del Obispo Galarza. For once, the parking spaces here will actually accommodate a larger vehicle.

The hotel is located in the centre of Caceres in Plaza Mayor next to good restaurants and the old city. The room was good however the air con wasn't cold or powerful enough and at night, some noise can be heard until 4 am from the people in the bars outside. There is no hotel parking so you have to park in a nearby street or use a park that the hotel suggests
