We were lucky enough to stay here with a fairly late, discounted booking for a classic double with additional bed for our 8yo, which upon arrival was generously upgraded to a suite overlooking the beach. This is the loveliest place we've ever stayed. The staff are simply a delight, the breakfast extraordinary (&included) and the a la carte meals superb. The hotel has a private beach with lounges and towels all free. The sand is white. The water crystal clear and warm. The pool gorgeous, if a little over chlorinated. The terraced table areas expansive and peaceful. We were here for a little over 24hrs on our way though fom corsica to rome (hotel chosen for proximity to the olbia airport 20mins away) and it felt like a week of refreshing pampering...a surreal, 'how the other half live' experience but still affordable. we didn't want to leave. Notable is the fact that generally we will opt for rustic, character-filled accommodations with close proximity to cultural sites...this place is a refuge for the beach goer, great for children too and simply a wonderful retreat to unwind. Once we walked through the doors we did not walk out again until we had to leave! (only downside: hard beds!)

I chose this hotel because of the reviews and the beach. This beach is perfect if you have small children because it's shallow a long way. So, the kids can play and enjoy a lot. Also because the are no high waves. The hotel itself is nice. Beautiful sea views! Service was very good! First night we arrived late and we had half board, i asked if we could have our dinner in the room. They had no problem with my request and the were very nice. 2 guys came to our room and arranged a romantic dinner for my husband and me. It was great! Lunch was also tasteful. Only the dinner of the 2ond night was not so good. it was cold and less tasteful as the the first night and the lunch. I would consider returning to this place, however as it's not so big (also a small swimming pool) I would avoid during high season.

Golfo Aranci is a quite place with not much to do than relax and enjoy the surroundings. I would not recommend this place to young folks that want to party.

You have to pay (10euros) per sun bed per person per day! That is asking too much in my view!

Suggestion:
As many family come here with small children (because of the beach) I would suggest to have a play room in the hotel for the kids. That would be a nice addition to the hotel.

This was a very nice hotel, with terrific service. The rooms were in ok shape, all you need for a summer hotell. The restaurant in the hotel were great for both breakfast and dinner. The service was the best I have ever experienced, of the old fashioned kind. It's a great hotel for golf tourists as well as families. They offered many activities as watersports and bike-rides, and there are many golf courses close by. The photo's looks exactly like it does in real life. In Sardinia you will need to rent a car, this is inevitable! Overall I loved both the island and the hotel. I think Sardinia is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been!!!

The manager at the hotel was so kind and nice. She had done everything that we can imagine upon our arrival. We arrived quite late for check in but had prepared our dinner for us and we had small child so we asked for a room with a bathtub and she changed the room for us immediately. Also it was my wife's birthday and we asked if we can order a birthday cake and the chef prepared for us such a nice birthday cake. All the staff at the hotel and the restaurant was so nice. The city it self is quite small so not so many restaurant but the lunch and dinner at the hotel is so nice compared to other hotels with lunch, dinner included. I will definately go back again, Also it is close to the Olbia airport and you don't need to lose time in transfer.
