The Victoria Hotel is conveniently located in the hearth of Minden. The service is very friendly, with a familiar touch and a positive attitude. But the room was a bit dark and old fashioned. Throughout the hotel there are really ugly and depressing copies of famous paintings. Simply put, thr hotel lacks the famous German "Gemütlichkeit".
And definitely the hotel does not
deserve the 5 stars it proudly presents on the building. If you are
looking for a luxury experience, this is not your place.

“Best Hotel in Minden”
This Hotel at present has a fantastic restaurant / chef. Sometime ago it was not that good and it is very nice to see things change for the better. The location is simply the most convenient to the city center - which is also a drawback because of it's location right on the market square it can get pretty noisy at night - especially on weekends when the bars are open later. However, the bar inside this gem of a Hotel is very "German" and quaint. The prices are very reasonable and the overall quality of service is better than good. All staff members had a positive attitude and the hotel has an elevator which is good when you have luggage. In the basement there is parking - even if it is a bit tricky to get in - which is a big plus in the central area of this city where parking is almost non-existent.
