My husband and 2 other relatives spent the last night of our Alsace vacation at the Hotel d'Alsace in Illkirch. I found it on the internet since I was looking for a hotel for us not too far from Entzheim Airport due to an early morning flight the next day. The hotel was easy to find from the web directions and it was very clean, comfortable, modern and cheerful. The front desk woman was friendly and helpful and our rooms were great. I felt that the web photos hadn't done them justice. We ate dinner in the hotel's dining room which was also very pleasant. Our young waitress was so sweet and happy to help us make selections and the food was excellent. We all were very pleased with our night at this hotel and thought both the rooms and the restaurant were great value. The location was good due to its proximity to the airport and there was ample parking in the adjacent lot. We would highly recommend this hotel for travelers in the area. We noticed that it was a popular place for business people, too. It is located in a more residential area but there were other restaurants, businesses and a grocery store nearby. It was a great find!

My girlfriend and i needed a couple of nights to ourselves while visiting family in strasbourg. This hotel was recommended to us as a good place to stay and we were not disappointed at all.

Comfortable room with a huge bed (i am tall) and very clean. Flat screen tv's (a bonus) not essential for us. We decided one night to eat in the restaraunt and found the food very good and the service excellent. Illkirch is a lovely, quiet part of strasbourg with a good tram and bus service into the centre.

All in all, our stay was really good and we would certainly go back and stay there again. Alsace is a beautiful part of france that can be explored at no great expense and the Hotel d'alsace is very, very good value!!!!!!

Delicious food at this hotel on the menu du jour and the other menus. Well worth a visit for the food alone. Not expensive and excellent house wines with a choice. Under 50 euros for two people with aperitifs, half carafes of wine for each person and three courses each. Excellent value!
