stayed here for a long weekend.. booked the superior room with seaview(actually estuary). Room was spaciousand clean... Bed was very comfortable and the walk in shower was one of the best we've had.. Worth noting that due to the large walk in shower there was no bath.. The other advantage of the superior room was the tea making facilities(apparently not available in th normal rooms!).. We had a kettle but nothing else... No problem we'll have a bottle of water from the mini bar..Errr no we wont.. empty minibar.. These oversights were, however, corrected the next day(?). Didn't eat dinner in the restaurant so cant comment, but ate breakfast most morning in the basement restaurant. Breakfast was pretty good. Other reviewers mentioned the nespresso coffee machine which was a nice touch though as the hotel was almost full when we stayed there was alway a long queue waiting to use it.. Perhaps more nespresso machines if they're proving that popular? Didn't get an opportunity to use the pool facilities so can't comment. The hotel location was a little further away from the town centre than I thought and as it was raining most days we were there we drove into the town centre but if you wanted to walk and knew your way around you should be able to walk it in 15 minutes.
Although the hotel offers parking the parking at the hotel is limited with the "overspill" car park across the road. The parking problem was worsened somewhat by the fact that they the hotel has spa facilities open to the general public.
All in all, we found the room very comfortable but it was just the little details that let this hotel down a tad. Would I stay there again? I would probably pick another hotel just so that I would be nearer the centre.
