This wasn't the first time in Hotel Kronjylland and it certainly won't be the last! Every time we arrive there it feels like coming home. Wonderful peaceful atmosphere, rooms are quite large in natural colors. Nice matrasses, helpful and friendly staff, breakfast buffet with healthy products. Cozy tables. There's also a relax area where you can get a drink, borrow a book or play a game. Close to the city center and supermarkets. You can also have dinner in the hotel. Great for families too. There's an indoor rainforest close by (Randers Regnskov) which is really cool to go to and you can do the starroute, check the touristoffice in the center. We'll be back!

Stayed at this hotel on our way to Copenhagen. The hotel staff was very friendly. We arrived late (10 pm) and we were disappointed to find our room was not set up with a roll away bed as we had requested. We booked the room on the hotel website to ensure that we had enough room for two adults and two kids. The room we were given did not have a roll away as we had requested. I asked the front desk staff and when she verified that I had indeed booked on their website and asked for a rollaway, a roll away was brought to the room right away. The staff apologized that night and the next morning - we were content and just happy to have a clean place to sleep for the night. We let the staff know that we would be back later in the week for another night's stay, they assured us that our room would be ready. They had indeed made sure that we were in a nice size room with plenty of room for all of us to sleep.

Breakfast was typical European continental. They had beans, hot dogs, eggs, bacon, cheeses, fruits, veggies, breads, cereal, juices, milk, coffee, tea...and more. We had a great start to our day after a great breakfast.

Parking was limited at this hotel. On our first nights stay we had to park in the free public parking lot down the street. It wasn't a long walk and there were lots of people walking on the street. We felt safe walking with the kids down the street to the hotel. On the second nights stay we were able to park right next to the hotel in the hotel parking lot.

Stopped the first time in a standard room that was pretty small.
The last visit was in a "superior room". This was huge with 2 single beds and a sofa bed.
Bar
Small but the beer is good! Service in there is pretty shocking. Waited for 10 minutes for someone to serve us even though we were the only people in the bar and there were staff milling around reception 20 feet away.
Location
A 10 minute walk from the center of town. Opposite a "Lidl" that you can park on if the small car park is empty.
