We had arrived at the hotel at around 11pm, after having taken the last train from Paris. The reason being that we had booked our return flight from Brussels before we had thought of taking a short trip to Paris inbetween.

The hotel lobby was clean and the front desk was quite friendly and helpful in terms of telling us our rooms as well as mentioning that payment was up front, as well as enquiring our check out time(which was at 4:30am the next day). He was also good enough to book a cab to the airport for us just as we were done paying for the room.

We had booked earlier in the day from Etap's online site. The room was clean yet functional, with a TV in the upper corner, although we were too tired to check what was on it. The separate bathroom and WC, as is standard with Etap, was clean and well kept. We had a sound sleep, even if it was for a short time before it was time to get up.

Just as the front desk gentleman has booked earlier, the cab had arrived and was waiting just outside the hotel. Check out was not much of an affair as we had already paid for our room and it was just a matter of returning our key cards.

All in all, it was a pleasant stopover before having to take our early morning flight. I am sure we would be using them the next time we have a real early morning flight to take, or simply as a stopover incase we happen to land in Brussels at an ungodly hour.

I loved this hotel very much. Very reasonably priced with Shuttle bus to and from the airport. This hotel was renovated very recently and great interiors. I enjoyed the various lighting they have in the room and during shower. Good value for money, though no breakfast included.

Also, wifi is chargeable. This is the bad stuff I noted. But for the price you pay to the room, I think its ok.

The location is convenient. It is connected by bus (272) to the business district EVERE / DA VINCI. So this is a +. Also it is near the airport. The room and comfort, well....First check other 3 star / good hotel @ 75-90 Euro (NH, Holiday Inn, IBIS, Mercure - if not available stay as a last resort. The room has no central heater / cooler and this is a bad feature !

Yes, it was about time the rooms of this hotel were refurbished as this hotel was close to being insanitary. However, the rooms are still cold at night. I hope they will eventually replace the wall-mounted electrical heaters with a more efficient device.
But, since hotel rates are ashamingly high and close to non-sense in Brussels on weekdays, this is still an affordable and convenient option.
