Stayed here a coiuple of years ago, and was disappointed, but I use HIE a lot so thought we would try again, but again wished I had stayed elsewhere, Room to Hot and again air con temp did not move from 22 had on lowest seeting to try and cool down, glad it was not summer, table lamp not working a call to reception to get fixed , should be that hard , but advised no maintence avaialable ! give me a bulb and I will change it , but assume HS reasons would not allow ! Unhelpful reception in assiting me find a restuarant that could offer a take away service, think they wanted to sell there own food, sorry HI are not best know for there food, have tried in the past and always poor, so I dont bother , I did not eat there food, so can commet on it here, but there was a 45 minute for it for the poeple who did order ! The tiolet was hard work to flush - I have read some other that have this problem here aswell ! Room was clean and typical HIE , but still has big old tv ! and remote contol did not work to well . these are basic faults that should not happen. Car parking is charged at £8 which I think is a bit high for Hotel guests - Breakfast is included , but the quality is not that good scambled eggs dried out, cheap sauages , I know they say its free, but come on improve the quality please.

Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of myself and my team for any discomfort caused.
I regret that your experience at the hotel is certainly not to our usual standard.
Please be assured I will be discussing and actioning where appropriate the circumstances of your dissatisfaction in depth with my colleagues.
We would also like to inform that we have a new dinner menu launched from the end of December. This is been well received and recommended by our customers.
Hotel Car parking is charged at a nominal charge of £8. This is very competitive in respect to other Airport hotels around Stansted and there would normally be a charge at any airport hotel.
