Firstly please note I didn't stay here myself, but rather booked a room for a friend who had missed the last flight out from Stansted. Being that she was understandably tired and upset, I made a note on the booking asking the staff to be nice to her, and she reports that she was given an exceptionally warm welcome and an exceptionally nice room (an upgrade I think). Effort noted with gratitude.

We are Hilton Diamond Members and stay in Hiltons and Conrads the world over and stayed at this one last week on route to Spain. The reception staff are the best, great smile, warm welcome, informative and our room was most cumfortable. Had dinner in the Restuarant and it was extremely nice and again, fantastic staff smiling and welcoming. On our return yesterday to collect our car, popped into the Costa at the Hilton and had two well crafted Coffees served by "I think her name was Olga" .. She explained the special offers and did a great job of up-selling all with a beaming smile, loverly. Whoever you are Mr or Mrs General Manager, you are doing a great job and you run a top notch hotel, thank you ....

Very helpful staff, adequate comfortable rooms, good buffet breakfast, didn't use the pool. Very convenient for an airport stopover-the Pink Elephant parking service is excellent and very good value.

This hotel has so many benefits. We picked it as we had a 10am flight & coming from Nottingham with a 5 week old baby we wanted somewhere close to the airport. Hotel check in was fast & staff were friendly. The room was clean, warm & comfortable, with modern furnishings. There were the usual products in the bathroom & tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel knew we were travelling with a baby but did not offer us any extra facilities such as a cot etc - luckily we had our own travel cot & came well equipped! If you need airport parking I highly recommend the Pink Elephant car park who's reception is based at the Hilton hotel & the free shuttle bus collects you from the hotel entrance every 30 mins & only takes 7 mins to get there. We found their service far superior to other airport car parks & bus services we have used in the past. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice - huge selection, open from 5am, again friendly staff (even at 6am!), definately not one to miss. When we travel from Stansted in the future this is the hotel we shall use again!
