This Holiday Inn is hard to find. It's a conference hotel and we booked the room through Hotwire for a good rate. The bed was much too soft for our comfort, and the pillows were thick--too thick for my wife who slept without one.

We asked about the availability of a microwave shortly after arriving because we wanted to make some popcorn, and were told that they could bring one to the room for a $10 fee. Most motels in this class at least provide a microwave for general use either in the lobby or near the vending machines, and we certainly were not going to pay $10 to pop some popcorn!

When the turned on the heat, we discovered that the heating unit made a loud noise, which later on woke me up in the middle of the night. After having stayed at a Courtyard by Marriott just a few nights before, this Holiday Inn just could not compare.

On the other hand, I liked the convenience of their coffee service in the lobby just off the main elevators. It's a nice place overall, really, but there were too many annoyances and I'd advise friends to look elsewhere.

I had a medical emergency and Hotel staff members Lisa and a young man were exceptionally helpful. They called 911 and waited with me in my room until the EMT Squad arrived. They were caring and efficient and immediately notified my Group tour coordinator.
The hotel itself was a pleasant place to stay. They provided an excellent breakfast and sent us on our way with treats. Stay there!

I am a Priority Club Platinum member. That means I have stayed over 60 nights in a Holiday Inn property. Normally as a Priority Club member you should receive a free breakfast and usually a free drink coupon. Well, this one gave me a $4 off coupon for breakfast and no free drink coupon. It's the little things like this that can set one property from another. On top of that, the property is pretty dated. Nothing is new or updated. Even the sign looks 20+ years old. I should have stayed somewhere else. This is a warning to all Priority Club members, stay somewhere else and hopefully you'll feel more appreciated than at this property.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was decently priced for what it was booked on 'Name Your Own Price' from Priceline. We were a very late arrival and they had our King Smoking Room ready for us, the late night front desk attendant was dressed very professionally and the front lobby was very nice and clean. Our room was on the top floor, the elevator was incredibly dirty, had a strong smell of oil & grease, and took forever on incredibly bumpy ride. The smoking floor hall smelled, smokey, as expected, but it was even worse in the room. Like a stale cigarette and old beer smell that was musty and damp is the best way to describe it. The wall unit air conditioner worked well, but it seemed to only circulate the air within the room, and by the end of our stay, both my fiancee and I had allergy issues and sneezing constantly. The furniture in the room was beat up and scratched, the sofa had stains all over it, the wallpaper was extremely yellowed and peeling, and the carpet was stained and old. There was a security guard walking the halls when we got in, but there were people across from us drunk and yelling and slamming doors in the hallway at intervals throughout the night, waking me up on several occasions. Ice machine was broken on our floor.

Positives:
-The bathroom was large and updated with Bath&Body Works shampoo and lotion.
-Lots of coffee and tea in-room
-Towels were large and soft
-The bed was decently comfortable (Although the pillows were all too firm for us)
-The Staff was friendly
-The Room Service from the Pub was well-priced and unbelievably had GREAT BBQ RIBS! They were certainly not stingy with their portions and much cheaper than what you see in other hotels.

All-in-All, I didn't sleep well at this hotel and I would never stay here again OR even recommend it to a friend. There are higher star hotels in the area that you can stay at with nicer, updated, and less 'stinky' smoking rooms, for not much more or the same price.
