We were greeted by friendly reception staff and were able to check in just before 3pm. We paid £69 for a standard double via booking.com excl breakfast. We paid £10 each for this at check-in. Our room (150) was bleak - tired furniture, old style bathroom and a huge gap under the door. It was a cold snowy Saturday and we couldn't get the heater to work (via air con unit) so I called reception. They said they'd send someone to look at it and we waited 10 mins so I called them again (i'm impatient!) and asked if we could move rooms to the main house which felt much warmer when we walked through. They arranged this for us free of charge and we moved to a Suite which was bigger, warmer and a nice decor. Bathroom still a little tired and freezing!! So cold we waited to come home to shower in the morning.
Spa facilities just 'ok'. My massage treatment was disappointing - I don't think the lady was experienced and cut it short by 5 minutes. I was the last appointment of the day and I think she wanted to get home! I'm still waiting for a call from the Manager/hotel to talk to me about this.
Bar/conservatery area nice - a little dated but nice to sit by the window with a drink and watch it snow. Service and food in the restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast; the best part of our stay.
Nice to have a late check out of midday but didn't stay and use the 'spa' facilities as planned.

We found a great deal on this hotel through lodging-world.com back in the low season of early December and were delighted by the quality of the hotel and the value for money we got.
The room was well up to Hilton's usual standards and looked as if it had been recently refurbed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and well maintained with good quality towels and bed linen.Service from reception and in the restaurant was extremely good and the staff were clearly well trained in customer service as well as possessing very good attitudes to that.
The location is very pleasant with a real rural feel despite its proximity to main roads.
We would certainly stay there again if we could get a similar deal.

I was in business in Wokingham and stayed at St Anne's Manor which is run by Hilton. A £6 taxi ride from either Bracknell or Wokingham station on the slow train from London Waterloo (1hr) very easy by car. I was given an executive room in the old Manor House which sounds very grand. The room was very large with a 4 poster bed, wardrobe, seating area, flat screen tv, safe, tea and coffee making facility, iron and ironing board. The bathroom was up 3 steep steps and was very old. There is a pedestal sink a tired Mira shower over a bath and toilet. Nowhere to put toiletries or your cup of tea in the morning while getting ready. Nice towels and a few toiletries which were adequate.

The bed was very comfortable and although the room was a nice size, it had no wow factor for me and it's age was not even quaint. I would say it was very tired and in need of some TLC which I know Hilton could give it and maybe will in time. Otherwise the hotel is well run, the staff are as you would expect, very friendly and efficient.

There is a living well leisure area near the entrance to the hotel with a full gym and nice swimming pool. It is open to the public so was very busy on the day I was there (Saturday night).

I did not eat in the hotel do cannot comment in the restaurant. There is free wifi everywhere.

We stayed at this place in Jan 2012 as we were celebrating our anniversary. We went for a Spa package.

Location
The hotel is surrounded by 25 acres of forest so not the usual hotel situated in a bustling street. The nearest town is Wokingham where there are a lot of shops & restaurants.

Room & Service
The experience begins even before you check in. Few days early, they sent us an email asking to fill in an online form to pre order anything (food + amneties) so that it would be ready in our room. The room is comfortable.

Food
We opted for dinner at the Omnia restaurant which is in the hotel itself. Being vegetarians, there wasn't much choice in the set menu but the food was wonderful. It good to see how can a simple dish can be made so be cooked so beaurifully.

Facilities
We took advantage of the LivingWell spa facilities. There's a swimming pool, sauna, steam room as well as a hot tub. All of them seemed to be well looked after. We also went for a massage which are provided by The Escape which was relaxing as well.

Rating - 4/5. For the amount we paid, the overall experience was quite good. It could be better by offering free internet access.
