This hotel is a reasonable hotel, not a bad price for the area and clean with a free car park. The most notable thing was the water pressure in the shower, it was lovely!
I would be worried if I was there in the depth of the winter as only a thin duvet was provided.
Overall happy as part of a business trip but wouldn't be using it for a short break away.

The Cobham Lodge is a basic, no frills hotel. There are no facilities such as bar or restaurant so it's really only somewhere to sleep and shower. The rooms are a reasonable size, well furnished and clean. Nothing special but OK as a stopover or on a business trip, as long as you've got dinner plans elsewhere. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, so you can always go there.

We enjoyed:
The free car park in front of the hotel. The free WIFI access.The nice town centre with supermarket WAITROSE accessible on foot. The large (triple) room.

We disliked:
The ageing hotel with old pieces of furniture and worn bed linens.
The small bathroom is renovated but the water of the washbasin does not mix. Water is either too hot or too cold.
The curtain of shower does not prevent water projections.Room is not very clean and gardening around the hotel is not done properly.
There is no breakfast facilities in the hotel and guests have to go and take breakfast in a restaurant located at the other end of the hotel car park..

We stayed at this hell hole for a familt event, bad from start to finish, the rooms are damp, smelly and need fumigating. Mould around the bath, holes filled in behind bath taps with tons of silicone. windows dirty as were the cups. Seemed to me that the place was being used a brothel. The manager was rude beyond belief when we asked for a refund. Expensive for what we received. Needs updating as still stuck in the 70's. Infact needs demolishing. You would be a fool to stay at this dump.
