I was married in the Holiday Inn East Kilbride on 22/10/2011. From the start to the end of my wedding day was perfect. We had our whole wedding in the hotel and everything was planned out very well, our wedding ceremony was held in a lovely room which accommodated my 60 guest comfortably. Our champagne reception was very well received. The layout of our wedding room for our meal was perfect and the meal was first class. Our evening reception was perfect and the Disco entertainment played tunes for all ages. The evening buffet was of very good standard. My husband I stayed in the complimentary bedroom that night and this room was a fantastic. The Holiday Inn staff displayed a very high standard of hospitality through the whole day and ensured everything went by without a hitch. We can’t thank them enough for such a fantastic and memorable wedding day.

I stayed here on business, immediately apparent was the high standard of efficiency, courtesy and service from the staff at the front desk and this was replicated throughout. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and you can use the facilities in the health club if you so wish. The breakfast was excellent, good choice and quality, particularly the hot buffet which was kept hot and fresh (all too rare in most places these days). The only downside was the price was simply not competitive enough to wine and dine in the evening. That said you take your choice and overall more plus than minus so its a good place to stay for business or pleasure. (Car parking also free).

This is my third trip to the Holiday Inn East Kilbride, although we stay less than 20 mins away it is great for my Son and I to come and spend quality time together. This visit I brought my friend and her Son for their first visit. What a lovely time we had. We both were given twin rooms with sofa beds which was great. The pool area has been refurbished since our last visit and the new steam room was worth a visit, well several visits. Food as always was first class and the staff in La Bonne Auberge couldn't have been nicer, sometime you wonder about noise from the kids (they are 7) but no one seemed to bother. We had such a great time we decided to stay on for a second night. Sarah in the bar was a star and made us feel so welcome. Our only downside was the 3 fire alarms that went off, one when we were in the pool, one in the bar, and one when we were in our jammies. The staff were brill and had towels, blankets etc for the kids, a very good touch. We decided on room service on our second night as a treat for the boys, how surprised were they when it was delivered by the Manager, how posh did they feel. Again, we had a lovely trip and it reminds me why we keep coming back.

This is the second time we have stay at this Hotel, and we found the staff to be polite and friendly.
When we checked in we were given a free upgrade, the room was a good size and bed was comfy and a king size.
Our room was situated on the ground floor, and was in a very quiet spot which suited us, no noise from other guests, also a free Sunday paper left at our door.
Having the health club next was great is a bonus, nice to relax in the sauna and turkish after a swim.
Breakfast was of high quality and the chef would do what ever eggs you prefer, good selection on offer.
One down side I would say was the price of the drink, I know everyone has to make a profit but this seems extreme, however it didn't spoil our stay, and would stay here again!
