I've stayed there with my 3 friends. We've got a two room appartment for very little price ( balcony in each room). There was a proper clean toilet and cooking appliances. The area is a bit noisy - it's because there's a lot of clubs around. I think the place is suited for younger people. I will definitely come back to Malta and will book this hotel again.

Stayed here for 13 nights - told by Booking.com to collect keys from St Georges and when I got there they sent me to La Vallette to get keys - as I arrived at 3.30am this was a pain moving my luggage from place to place collecting keys - first night had no electric as I did not know that you had to place apartment key into slot - found out from cleaner next morning ! Apartment was clean and OK for needs - had a flat screen TV which did not work ! Cleaners supplied fresh towels every few days but did not change sheets or clean apartment at all during my 13 day stay - luckily there were spare sheets on another bed and I took these and changed bed myself

Central for everything but very noisy in early morning due to construction across the street and later at night due to local bars having loud music and guests arriving back at the apartment building in the early hours of the morning

Booked this as I was aware of the place St Julians - but this hotel is not in the "real" St Julians it is in the middle of Paceville (a mini Ibiza). So if one was seeking a relaxing and tranquil stay - forget it. Cancelled my stay as soon as I found its location. I tried to do this personally but could not even find the front entrance to this establishment so I had to do it on the phone.

I picked up a cheap deal for Burlington apartments and read the rather negative reviews about it, so my friends and I didn't really know what to expect. The apartments themselves are very clean and although they are quite basic, you get what you pay for, which we were happy about. The best point about these apartments has to be the location- as a group of young people we were wanting to go out each night and have close access to everything in St Julians- Burlington gives you exactly this. The only slight drawback was the fact there was no reception located in the apartment block, but it was a 2 minute walk to another building and 4 floors up. On the nights we slept in, we generally got a good nights sleep but the rooms did get very hot and sticky and the fans were not of best quality, but your body adapts and you learn to cope with the heat anyway. All in all, a smashing week at these apartments:

- LOCATION!
- Staff and cleaners friendly
- good for younger people, good basic facilities

CONS:
- Rooms get hot at night
- Location of reception
