Booked a Club room and was not disapointed. Check in was a breeze, dropped luggage at front door, went up to the 15th floor Club Lounge to check-in over a coffee.

The Club Lounge was fantastic, an adequate selection for breakfast, aftrenoon tea and evening canapes, and of course a good selection of Alcohol. The staff in the Club Lounge were exceptional - very friendly and helpful.

I Booked a Club room and was upgraded tio a suite - one of the few with a sea view. I would recommend asking for a room overlooking the inner courtyard, its worth noting that none of the rooms have sunrise/sunset views as the hotel faces north(ish) and none of the rooms possibly apart from 12-15 have distant views, just a view of a pleasant leafy courtyard.

Yes the hotel is very near the night clubbing area, but this is easily avoided. The hotel is close to bus routes and within easy walking distance of Spinola Bay.

One restaurant I would recommend is the Blue Elephant Thai in the Hilton at spinola Bay - excellent.

All in all an excellent choice and I would return.

Excellent service in most areas
Only problem was the Al Fresco restaurant ordered a steakmeal which had mushroom sauce included on menu. When I asked where sauce was I was told I only ordered the steak!Also the vegetables were cold. May have been a new waiter? Told would have to wait 10minutes if I wanted mushroom sauce.
The Eastern Bar was excellent and would highly recommend.
At reception the staff were very polite and very helpfull.
The rooms were kept very clean and tidy .
I would definately stay again

We recently spent 3 nights at this Hotel. The check in was busy upon arrival but the staff ensured a very short wait. The customer service was excellent, friendly and helpful. This excellent service was everywhere within the hotel from valet parking, porters, cleaning, restaurant and reception staff. Whilst checking in we were asked if we were in Malta for any particular reason and I mentioned that it was our anniversary the day we were leaving. To our surprise on our last night we arrived from a day of sightseeing to find a lovely complimentary chilled bottle of champage and a selection of small desserts. On top of all this was a handwritten card wishing us a lovely anniversary. Very touching and personal and appreciated. I must also mention the amazing gentlemen who played piano in the bar, Godwin was a charming and very accomplished pianist who delighted in playing any request you asked for. It really was a delighful evening. I highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly and patient staff, a luxurious place together with a hearty warm atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more. While the hotel is quite large and prestiged, the service goes down to a personal level. None of your requests will be taken forgranted. Indeed, a great value for money! :)
