Unlike other reviews I did not have a problem with noise in this hotel. The rooms were clean, apart from the linen which had a lot of suspicious stains on it. Staff are not very friendly or helpful and will hassle you every time you try to go to your room day or night to make sure you are a guest. I couldnt find a remote for the tv so was unable to change the chanel from static. Wouldnt really bother about breakfast, one choice of ham slices, cheddar cheese slices, cornflakes, bread and water hardly get the day off to a good start, but dont really expect too much more for £17 a night!

The Hotel is in St. Julian's, top location for night life but also well served by buses. Aircon, TV, breakfast included. Receptionists Aimée and Louise are delicious and always ready to help with any info or accomodation issue. Higher floors recommended because of discos nearby (center of the Maltese movida). Excellent pubs, restaurants and snacks within a minute. Big and cheap Internet cafe in the hotel. Really excellent value!!!

I paid 29 Euro for a twin bed with a two sheets - no blanket. The place is more comparable to a hostel instead of a hotel. Most of the guests were German teenagers attending a local English language school. The staff was very polite and tried their best to be helpful to the few adults that were staying there. There is a nice little bar restaurant downstairs, a cheap Internet cafe, and a cheap place to call home. It is right in the center of the action. There are much nicer places to stay there, but you will pay 10 times more.

8 Of us stayed here for 3 nights cost 65 euros each for bed and breakfast which in this day is pretty damn good, the location is ideal minute stroll to the beach and 5 minute stroll to main drag. The rooms were basic but very clean the m aids were in changing the sheets and towels everyday, breakfast was not bad cereal, toast, cold meat. Tropicana also has the biggest internet cafe in malta. So all in all i would recommend this hotel
