I booked through Easyjet and thought the would ensure that hotels are up to a certain standard. This "hotel" was very, very disappointing as we had already paid and couldnt move. In the first room, the phone didnt work and after various problems we were moved. The second room didnt have a safe - the freestanding safe later arrived - ready to be carried away! The room was dark and dingy, the bathroom was a joke - couldnt bend down in the shower as it was too small, the hairdryer had no adaptor, the tv didnt work and couldnt be fixed. It was winter and no blankets, the breakfast in the awful restaurant was diabolical - the bread was stale and the "top guy" thought he was something and had lots to say if you complained. If you arrived at 9 am there was just about nothing left. It was horrible and I would certainly not recommend anybody goes there - cheap or not. The passages were dirty and the carpets stained. The staff initially were very aggro but seemed to calm down later. We were stuck there for a week. Malta Tourist Authority should take a look at this and close it down as it certainly does nothing for the country.
Room Tip: Dont book at this hotel!!!!
