“Great location, well specced & overall good value”

My family of 3 spent a week here. Excellent location, hop over the pool fence and you are in Monaco. Approx 7 minutes walk (the back way via Chemin de Sculptures) from major Monaco amenities including the massive Carrafour supermarket. 20 minutes to Monaco train station
and Rainier palace. Probably 30 -40 minutes on foot to the Casino, but parking is free or very cheap throughout the area.

Be warned that you are only 50 metres from Monaco heliport which can have alot of movemements and consequent noise - didnt bother us tho.

Mix of studios, 1 and 2 bed partments all overlooking the port with balcony. Apartments very well thought out and in the style of a boat inside. TV, kitchenette, separate bath and loo. Large Bedroom. Air conditioned. Small but well equiped gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and 2 pools one for small kids and nice uncrowded large one. Free underground parking. Could be a little tricky to find for those unfamiliar with the area.

Downside, the cleaning of apartment was poor. We had to wash the dirty pans and crockery left behind by previous occupants Microwave was broken as was air con in bedroom (main room worked well enough to cover).Childs cot and linen was filthy and had to be changed.

Slight shabbiness of bathrooms, walls and public areas suggest some general maintenance ought to have been carried out but wasnt during winter months. Hopefully this will be rectified otherwise this place could deteriorate quickly which would be a great shame

Overall, excellent value for money and a great place to stay (cleaning excepted).

When we arrived we weren't expecting much considering the price we paid for the apartment but were pleasantly surprised. The room was basic but had amenity you would need. We had a double balcony on the first floor which provided beautiful views of the harbour, especially at night. The apartments were well located with a bus stop only 5 minutes walk and the supermarket only 10 minutes away. The fontvieile area in monaco which backs on to the apartments is lovely, make sure you visit the harbourside in the evening as well as the lovely parks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you like a good cup of tea though in the morning, make sure you take a travel kettle as our suite was not equiped with one. Overall, an excellent stay, I would recommend these apartments to anyone wanting to stay near monaco on a budget.

“Excellent base for Monaco”

The hotel is situated right on the harbour front at Port de Cap D'Ail, which is to the West of Monte Carlo, and a lot quieter than the other harbours. Our suite, which claimed to sleep 4, would have been pretty cosy with 4 adults - there is a double bedroom at the back, a nice bathroom, and a lounge with small kitchen leading to a balcony. The balcony looked right out over the boats in the harbour (we were on the first floor), and had plenty of room for eating and lounging. The kitchen was pretty basic, so don't plan to cook grand meals there, but was adequate for our needs. The decor was fine but looking a little dated, and everything was perfectly clean. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

The 'leisure club' consists of a steam room, sauna, whirlpool and gym, and there's a pool on the roof which was - not surprisingly - closed in December. Internet access was available in the hotel bar, which was completely deserted every time we went past. The hotel operates more like services appartments, with a skeleton staff out-of-hours.

It's about a ten minute walk through the suburbs of Monte Carlo to the start of the touristy area - maybe 30 mins walk to the casino. A bus service runs from the main road, 5 mins from the hotel, which will take you anywhere you are likely to need. Another bus service runs from even closer to the hotel to the airport in Nice. If you don't mind a bit of a walk back from the restaurant or bar, I'd highly recommend this hotel.

“Highly Recommended!”

Our family of four (two adults, two teenage girls) enjoyed a week in this well apppointed and well located accommodation. The modern two storey building forms much of the east side of the Cap d'Ail marina. From the balcony of our suite we were able to admire the many luxury yachts moored below (including one belonging to the Rolling Stones!)

Accommodation is in two room suites with a large bathroom and a kitchen area. The quality of the fittings and facilities is excellent. The facilities include a gym/spa and extensive rooftop pool area. There is on-site parking (one space per suite). The centre of Monaco is a short stroll away.
