My family of 3 spent a week here. Excellent location, hop over the pool fence and you are in Monaco. Approx 7 minutes walk (the back way via Chemin de Sculptures) from major Monaco amenities including the massive Carrafour supermarket. 20 minutes to Monaco train station
and Rainier palace. Probably 30 -40 minutes on foot to the Casino, but parking is free or very cheap throughout the area.
Be warned that you are only 50 metres from Monaco heliport which can have alot of movemements and consequent noise - didnt bother us tho.
Mix of studios, 1 and 2 bed partments all overlooking the port with balcony. Apartments very well thought out and in the style of a boat inside. TV, kitchenette, separate bath and loo. Large Bedroom. Air conditioned. Small but well equiped gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and 2 pools one for small kids and nice uncrowded large one. Free underground parking. Could be a little tricky to find for those unfamiliar with the area.
Downside, the cleaning of apartment was poor. We had to wash the dirty pans and crockery left behind by previous occupants Microwave was broken as was air con in bedroom (main room worked well enough to cover).Childs cot and linen was filthy and had to be changed.
Slight shabbiness of bathrooms, walls and public areas suggest some general maintenance ought to have been carried out but wasnt during winter months. Hopefully this will be rectified otherwise this place could deteriorate quickly which would be a great shame
Overall, excellent value for money and a great place to stay (cleaning excepted).
