We stayed at this hotel for a one night break and I can say that the grounds are great, but could not find the disabled parking when asked staff were not sure which helped. On coming inbto the hotel the reception area was all wooden and looked great but from a disability point of view was useless. I found that as we headed to the disabled room that a lot of the areas to get out onto the back areas were not accessible as they all had steps and when i asked staff they seam to get the rabbit in the head lights look as if i was going to shout at them if i could not get out. The disabled room was not that disabled no wet room (was not offered) and the bathroom was not that big. The bedroom was ok but again they have not thought about layout in the room i think you need to take more time when looking at disablilty things like the bedroom door was really heavy. That evening we were going for dinner and it seamed a party was going on and they seam to have a hall confernce room which was up stairs and saw the staff carrying a lady in a wheelchair up there she looked scared!!!!! if it had been an electric chair what would they of done.
I found the restaurant to be pleasent but again access was a nightmare i nearly took out a number of tables. So all in all unless you are a fit or abient disabled person do not go near this hotel!!
