I stayed in this hotel one night (June of 2008). The rooms are good and the hotel has common enchanting spaces. There is a pretty swimming pool in the open air. The restaurant is not special at all nevertheless it will be your choice because there is no another restaurant near. The hotel is in the Douro Region but you must have a car to go to the tourist principal places and farms. The streets take bad lighting at night as what is not very advisable to travel at night. It is a quite nice hotel for groups and families. It is a good value but if you will be able to spend more money, you have many better options in the Douro Region.
