stayed there for one night. great location, really in the senter of everything. great new resturant as well, and nice staff! will return...

Spent one night at the hotel during our trip in Norway and Sweden this summer. The hotel was a bit expensive.

Great locations, just at the center of the lovely town with the nice old houses.

Some strange smell in the corridors.

Breakfast was very good and staff helpfull.

Hotel is conveniently located close to the railway station and the historic part ow town. At check-in we were given a room key with the old, heavy key-tags which had the room number engraved. Except in our case the tag probably no longer matched the room and a new room number had beed written on a piece of paper and taped around the tag. The corridor smelled of fish being prepared in the kitchen, and so did our room. At first sight the room looked OK and had probably been painted and given new curtains 10-15 years ago. Bathoom was ordinary. Had dinner which was OK, the bar ajoining the lobby never opened. When we went to bed in the evening we felt that the beds were quite uncomfortable, but we had travelled far and were tired. Woke up very early and realized the mattersses were totally worn out. I took off the sheets and found that they were dirty and stained and looked the same as we had in our house when I grew up in the 50s and 60s.
