I am sad to say that I have no good memories after my experience with this hotel. My wife and I looked forward to a good night's sleep after a tiresome day and were looking forward to start the next day's long journey with loaded batteries. It did not turn out like this. When we went to bed, we observed that the ventilation/AC (which had been on earlier in the evening) was turned off. During the night, the temperature rose and the air did not represent an atmosphere which contributed to refreshing the body. In order to get fresh and cool air, we had to open the window. The bonus for this action was a terrible traffic noise from the road that was just a few meters from the window. Under these circumstances we did not sleep very much.
The next morning I reported this to the staff in the reception. They admitted that the AC was turned off (or reduced, as they said) during the night. This was according to their procedures. I told them that it was not satisfactory to me, and possibly not to many other guests as well. The staff's reply was that they had to reduce the use of polluting electric power. Furthermore this power was too expensive.
The breakfast was OK...

Not particularly close to the airport, but the facilities are first-rate. The bathrooms are
some of the best in Norway. For an "Economy" hotel rooms are extremely spacious. Breakfast is typical, not outstanding but certainly adequate. My only complaint is that two single beds pushed together do not a double bed make. Parking was apparently a concession and relatively expensive considering the location.

I've visited this hotel numerous times, during stopover between flight's and meanwhile attending conferences at our main office..

It's a ok hotel to stay at for a stopover or with colleagues, I miss a bar or something like that, to "hang in" before you tuk into the bed.

There are no restaurant at the hotel, you can order pizza delivery or take the five minute walk over to the Thon Conference hotel. They got a god resturant and bar.

The rooms are clean, and spacious. Got high speed wifi, but no minibar.
The one thing i dislike most with this hotel is the shower. The bathroom itself is good, but the shower is made for people below 185 cm height.
So when I'm 194 cm, it's a little tricky to have a good shower, no biggy but I tend to get irritated about that everytime I stay at this hotel.

Since I'm loyalty programme member of this hotel chain, time to time I stay in this hotel, if they can offer a special price. Hotel is not so close to the airport, therefore plane noise is not disturbing. But still airport is easy reachable by shuttle bus. Hotel is more modern compared to others in this area. High Norwegian quality standards for rooms and breakfast.
