I've visited this hotel numerous times, during stopover between flight's and meanwhile attending conferences at our main office..

It's a ok hotel to stay at for a stopover or with colleagues, I miss a bar or something like that, to "hang in" before you tuk into the bed.

There are no restaurant at the hotel, you can order pizza delivery or take the five minute walk over to the Thon Conference hotel. They got a god resturant and bar.

The rooms are clean, and spacious. Got high speed wifi, but no minibar.
The one thing i dislike most with this hotel is the shower. The bathroom itself is good, but the shower is made for people below 185 cm height.
So when I'm 194 cm, it's a little tricky to have a good shower, no biggy but I tend to get irritated about that everytime I stay at this hotel.

Since I'm loyalty programme member of this hotel chain, time to time I stay in this hotel, if they can offer a special price. Hotel is not so close to the airport, therefore plane noise is not disturbing. But still airport is easy reachable by shuttle bus. Hotel is more modern compared to others in this area. High Norwegian quality standards for rooms and breakfast.

This is the budget version of the Thon hotel near the main Oslo airport. The room was fabulous and offered much, much more than expected! Very big room, big bathroom, free and fast Wifi, yummy breakfast, comfy beds, good additional seating in the room, heated bathroom floor! Ample parking for 60 Kr per day.

Airport shuttle every 15 minutes, but note there is a cost of 60 Kr per person, each way. My colleague and I found it was the same cost, or cheaper, to park for the day at the airport itself. I doubt, however, this is the case for a longer trip away.

But no questions, I will stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved this place. Being a budget hotel, we expected much less. It was nicely decorated in minimalist style, very comfortable rooms and beds, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, free internet access, quiet. We couldn't ask for more. It was really quite inexpensive for Norway, and it was much nicer than other places we stayed in Oslo and Bergen at much higher prices. Only a few minutes by shuttle bus from the airport--very convenient. We would go there again for sure and will always try a Thon hotel whenever we are in Norway again.
