I spent a night in the airport Clarion with my family in late December 2011. We had a couple of standard rooms with an extra bed for a child in one. Transport from the airport is quick and painless if a bit expensive (about 10 euros, half of what you would pay for an express train ticket to Oslo, 60 km away, for a 5 min bus ride). The Check in was fast, the rooms were comfortable, there was free wi-fi, they had nifty gadgets like a wine dispenser with several good vintages or free still and sparkling water taps in the hallway fed from pipes running throughout the hotel and the breakfast buffet the next morning was excellent. That about does it for the good. The bad? One room smelled like smoke ( despite being non-smoking), one bathroom soap dispenser was broken and one window was broken, I think and let the cold in. The ugly? That extra bed we had asked (and paid) for wasn't there and didn't appear even if we did ask for it twice at the front desk.
