Built in 2007, 500+ rooms, modern, close to Gardermoen airport, affordable parking. And very very quiet. Nice.

Spacious rooms and bathrooms, tv-controlled temperature (!), flatscreen of course. Very comfy beds. However, there were some problems with water on the bathroom floor after a shower. Quite a bit actually. It sounded like this was a problem in general for some reason. Hopefully they'll get it fixed.

Nice breakfast included. Pricy and not so good (tasteless) dinner in the restaurant. Maybe pizza delivery is the way to go.

The airport shuttle stops just outside the entrance every 15 mins or so and 70 kroner and a few minutes later you are ready for boarding.

Shoe shine, water, ice and coffe free of charge. Wi fi (don't remember if it was free).


This is your typical business/conference hotel, and is easy forgettable. But it doesn't pretend to be anything else, and that's fine with me.

It deserves it's 4 stars.

And, I almost forgot, the have a gym and spa in the basement but I didn't use it due to lack of time.

This is an OK hotel near Gardermoen Airport. No complaints, very good beds and clean. Not mutch to do around the hotel, but then you should find another place to stay.

Convenient, very quiet. Staff helpful. Had to pay for parking even though there was nothing else around. Stayed 2 nights - when we arrived in Norway and when we left as it was handy to airport. Nice breakfast

Business meeting. Didn't really expect much, but the delivered value was less.

The meeting rooms downstairs and upstairs did not have any appropriate power outlets. Neither did they provide any extension cables for those few outlets in sight. Trust your batteries, not the hotel!

Lunch value was really low. I assumed that the pepper trout was actual trout, but it turned out it set the standard for my stay. It wasn't actual trout, but some funny mashed up orange stuff propped up to look like the real stuff. After that I didn't really expect much.

I do not remember the dinner. Don't want to, really. Must have been more or less what I got for lunch. Not memorable at all. Must have been some look-alike salmon stuff. I vaguely remember the fatty taste of farmed salmon. And asking for salt, not getting any.

The evening get-together was ok. The upstairs bar was a nice venue. But considering that this was a group of adults meeting to discuss professional stuff - and NOT a teenage disco - the music represented a problem. Not so much because of the artists. We never really listened in. But then again we never really tried. Me and a couple of colleagues left the venue and brought chairs to sit outside the in the hallway to be able to lead a proper discussion. Nowhere inside did we find a quiet corner. We asked for some a tad lower music on three occasions, but nobody seemed to care.

Back at my room I used the television remote control to adjust the room temperature. Adjusting it was slow. It will take you around ten pushes of the button to find BBC World... Adjusting the temperature is equally bad. The system is made to please hotel managers, not the users.

Figuring out I had left my tooth paste I called the reception asking for some. Got down to the front desk. No reaction. Two guys sat idling behind a window not keeping up to speed on the front desk. After two minutes I lifted the front desk phone and they raised their eyebrows. Considering the fact that this was less than three minutes after I said I would pick up some toothpaste it was a bit surprising.

The toothpaste was a stunning 75 ml tube. It will probably cost me a good 6$. I just needed a small thing - "on the house".

I really did not like it here.
