I stayed at this hotel in July 2010 while on a tour. The hotel is VERY classy and food selection (buffet evening meal) was the best I have ever had. Rooms are renovated, modern and very clean. The hotel is alongside a lake, lovely for a late evening walk. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for two nights only and since we were here on business we did not have time to explore all the facilities.

The hotel is partly refurbished, giving it a little odd look at the moment with a mix of styles. I stayed in a refurbished room with a terrace and a view, and was very happy with everything in the room. Large and comfortable and nice design. I understand all the rooms were refurbished in 2008.

The service in general was great - staff was very helpful in providing us a meal even if we arrived after the restaurant had closed. Nice breakfast buffet and great dinner at the restaurant.

The lounge area was very large and nice and with different zones depending on your needs.

We got a refurbished room with terrace. Nicely decorated and clean.
The bar was quit expensive but the location is good. Very nice staff. The restaurant could need an update. The best choice in this area.

Lovely lakefront location, good breakfast buffet. However, our room was a disaster. It was located next to a staff elevator, which was constantly operated making a lot of noise. The doors of the elevator made a horrible screeching sound every time they where opened or closed. What's more, there was a disgusting kitchen-like stench in the room (similar to old cooking oil), which seemed to be coming from a loose plastic ceiling plate next to the entrance. It was not possible to get rid of the smell. There's obviously something seriousely wrong with the ventilation. In the bathroom there where dark spots looking suspiciousely like mould.
The lady at the reception offered us 10% off and was apologetic, but that could't save the worst night we have ever spent in Scandinavia.
