Location: right at the end of the Sognefjord in Sogndal. Waterfront and fantastic views. A great location for travellers who wants to see the fjords/mountains.
Service: Smiling, friendly and great.
Rooms: the double superior are great, but the standards are quite dated. 70s style. Still ok beds, clean enough and with a lovely balcony and facing the fjords. Make sure to get a room vith a
fjord view. And upgrade if you are staying longer then for a night. An upgrade is only a few 100 kr, and if you are lucky, you'll get it free.
Be aware: This is a very poorly insulated hotel. Sound travels all over the hotel, and it can be a bit noisy.
The hotel: the pool and outside area is great, all though the water is cold.
The food: Ok, but overpriced. Get your dinner somewhere else. But breakfast is great, and included.
Price: ok value.
