Ok hotel. But, no more. Our room, 201, was facing E39 and E5 which means a lot of noise from the passing traffic. I'm sure the hotel can offer more quiet rooms, but this night all rooms were occupied due to Førdefestivalen. (A yearly folk music festival).

The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed staying here!
The rooms are very nice, and the style is old and luxurious.

We recommend you to stay at this hotel when you are in Førde, it's fantastic!

overpriced and very basic

We are 4 adults that stayed there for 1 night in the family room which consists of 2 rooms joined together. A double bed in one room and 2 single beds in the the other. The room with 2 beds has no window and poor lighting. The rooms are spacious.
The staff was very nice and friendly.
The wireless Internet didn't work in the room, and we had to use it in the lobby.
The room furniture is very old and needs renovation.
There was some garbage left in the drawers near the double bed.
Breakfast was OK. We had better and we had worse.
There's nothing much to do in the town, so if you want to stay there, it should be used as a base for trips in the area as it lies on a crossroad.
All in all, the hotel is ok, but I believe the price is too high for the quality you get.
