First of all I have to say that I was very impressed the the movie theme at the hotel during my accommadation. ( May 2010) It was fantastic. We were on a school trip to Norway as a partofcomenius project. I liked most the waffle time in the afternoons. Nonetheless I have to add that the food was very dodgy to my taste. I think the hotel has to add menu some more international food such as chips, fish, beef, soup insteadof cold staff. Except for the food, the hotel was excellent and I can definitely recommend this hotel to visitors.

I arrived at this movie-stuffed hotel in the middle of the week, just a few days following the Haugesund Film festival. The hotel is situated right in the harbour, and the view from the room was really nice. The staff was friendly and warm, but messed a bit with the key card and information. Missed a bit in guiding me around the city, as I had never been there before.

The hotel have a complimentary evening buffet, which is lovely, and the breakfast was great. Along the sea there are quite a few restaurants and bars, and you can have a good meal in many of them.

Room was great, with a fantastic view. I would have stayed on a higher floor than 2 if I knew it was right above the outdoor seating area, but all in all a good stay!

Sayed here 5 times. Right in the middle of Haugesund quayside, with around 8 restaurants just seconds away. Lovely big rooms. Rooms facing the quayside have a great view. Some noise at night, but not enough to disturb sleep. Always immaculately clean rooms.Staff are extremely friendly. Best thing about this hotel is the 'relax' space on the top floor, with communal sauna and steamroom. The hotel serves a good breakfast and a free supper on weeks nights.

pleasant atmosphere with quiete jazz music, nice terace facing marine where you can take free cofee or tea and read a book or just watch the sailboats and seagulls. On weekend there was pancaker for you to make a pankake with jam in the lobby and the arome was all around.
the only problem was there was quite noise outside while I must have slept with opened window as it was too warm otherwise. I would also rather prefer down pillows than the plastic ones.
