I arrived in very late somratherbthan carry on I decided to stay. Hotel was easy to get to and quiet at 1am!! My room was clean and spacious and very comfy bed, nothing to complain about really.

A 3-minute walk from the terminal via a covered walkway. The atmosphere / decoration is very Scandinavian - pale wood / stone / very sleek as soon as you step in the door. Pleasant, efficient staff. Comfortable, modern room (although wi-fi was not free). Very good restaurant.

The Hilton in Helsinki was a great place to stay especially if you're making connections from the Airport. We stay 3 separate nights traveling in and out of Helsinki between trips to/from the US and Germany over a 3 wk period. Accomodations were great. The restaurant was outstanding as well. My wife and kids loved the free buffet breakfast included with the room. Many Finish bfast specialties as well as American traditionals. All you can eat. The airport checkin was only a few hundred yards walk under covered walkways. Made international checkins and arrivals a breeze.
Restaurant in Hotel also very nice. Dinner is $$$... but great food.

Free access to internet only in the lobby :(. Additional charge for internet access in the room ;(
Each room has In room private sauna in the Finish traditions was great for relaxing and unwinding.
Not alot to see around the airport, but great and very convienent layover spot. Buses available at the airport terminal to go downtown. Leaves every 30 or 60 minutes. Very reasonable price. Can also take taxi into Helsinki. Drive is about 30 minute drive.

Concierge was very accomodating. Let us leave bags in check room in between stays no charge. You'll love layovers at this hotel

Excellent hotel and an excellent location. The barman was good company as myself and 2 colleagues had a few beers prior to dinner (Portuguese chap). Spotlessly clean, rooms are immaculate and there really is no faulting the quality of the hotel itself. The only thing to keep an eye on is costs. Don't keep a tab at the bar and the restaurant as it can be a big surprise if you have not planned for such a budget. On work stays one can be a little more generous but if you were on holidays then it could put a dent in your planned budget or potentially be an excellent night out if you want to get rid of your last €uros. All in all it does what it says on the tin.
