This is a standard airport hotel. It has standard rooms and standard restaurant, are location and building are unanonymous. It is about 6 mins free shuttle bus drive (3-4 buses / hour) from the airport. Breakfast available from 4 am so you get your stomache filled before departure. Free wireless and sauna, as everywhere in Finland hotels. It takes 20-25 mins and about 30-35 EUR with taxi to the downtowm Helsinki.

The location near to the Airport is the only think going for it, the staff couldn't find our reservation although it was for 7 nights, on the first night in the restaraunt the waitress ignored us until I had to call her over to order food, she was rude, arrogant and patronising and when my 'hot' meal arrived it was clap cold and downright poor, unfortunately we had to eat in the hotel most nights due to our busy schedule, every night the food was cold and of a very poor standard, on the last night, it took us over two hours to order & be served our food, I had gone for fish and a cremated dried up piece of Salmon was put in front of me!
The last two days my room wasn't cleaned and no fresh towels provided, I rang reception & got clean towels but the room remained uncleared.
Overall the staff were miserable & grumpy and I wouldn't recommend staying unless the close proximity to the Airport is essential.

Only 1 night stay but really long enough,.rooms are tired, small and hotel was fully booked with kicking and shouting young teenage athelics. Dining impossible because restaurant fully growded, also beeakfast time there was an awful mess. Front desk servive really good but hotel is not good value of money and forexample drinks costs alike heaven.

This is a great hotel if you arrive at Helsink airport late evening, there is a free shuttle bus, and the rates are budget. I cannot say the hotel was budget though, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large enough, had two excellent sized twin beds, and had other little 'touches' like slippers for children and mints on each bed. We were amused to have such normal touches like a hair dryer/fridge etc, but no kettle. When we queried this, the receptionist told us that kettles were only in the upper class rooms. In Australia, a kettle is standard in any hotel/motel, which is why were were amused, but it is not standard to have an ironing press, which this room had. Breakfast was sufficient, don't be late because they will pack it away. If you are going to the airport, make sure you use the shuttle, as we did a taxi of 2 kms, and kit cost us 13 euros. Then we took the bus to the city (17kms), and the cost was 4 euros pp. So taxis are expensive and the buses are cheap. The 4 euros also got us to the ferry terminal, so effectively, the public transport here is very cheap. Our taxi driver told us it would cost us 40 euros to the centre of Helsinkli. Also, the local people are very friendly and helpful, so ask questions, you will find it easy to gtravel around Helsinki by public transport.Checkout time is 12pm, a plus for us, and if you need to stay longr, the cost is 10 euros ph
