This was the last of 3 we used in this chain & the best, good welcome at reception, clean room,quite although full. we used the restaurant next door and got a good meal. plenty of car parking space.The breakfast more than adequate. will use this one again

The facts about the Evreux B and B Hotel.
We stayed for one night , the hotel was in good condition, the rooms were clean and there was no stale cigarette fumes. The shower was excellent and the connection to the wifi worked well. The bed was a firm foam mattress on a flat board, wasn't too bad though.
Although the hotel had a fence around the perimeter and a keypaded main entrance the pedestrian entrance was always open, a bit of a concern if you leave possessions in your car particularly as the hotel is situated in a commercial area.
Breakfast was standard continental, the bacon and eggs were not edible.
We experienced no external noise but some internal noise.
These hotels are extensively used by white van men and contractors
Overall we would consider staying again particularly as it is located close to main routes

Booked into the hotel on a Sunday evening - reception staff very helpful. Room was clean, modern and reasonable in size with excellent double glazing. Flat screen TV available (French TV only). Ensuite small, but excellent shower.

No meals available but very good restaurant opposite the hotel, with a discount if you were staying at the hotel.

Breakfast next morning was adequate - bacon(greasy) and scrambled egg, cereals, yoghurts, croissants, various bread, jams, fruit juice, tea, coffee. Eat as much as you want for €5.95. Dining room was spotless. Checkout time is midday - which leaves plenty of time for a lie in if you want! Manager (I think) appeared to do everything but was pleasant and helpful.

Good for budget chain hotel.

A modern, clean and well-presented B&B Hotel (one of our favourite budget chains in France) with courteous staff. Badly let down, sadly, by the cooked breakfast this morning (29/5/10 at 0930) which was inedible. The breakfasts really do vary in B&B hotels -- the cooked food was almost cold. The 'scrambled egg' was a kind of loaf that presumably came out of a foil container? and dumped into the warmer. The choice of sliced bread for toasting was poor. Usually there is an unsweetened bread available but this morning there was a black bread and a sweet sliced white but nothing unsweetened. I suggest to B&B Hotels management that they smarten-up their act on breakfasts....they have the right idea, for sure, but they need to make sure their staff are trained to carry it out.

Please note: -- The high ratings I have given are for this CLASS of hotel. It is a 'formula' chain which suits our lifestyle and budget and the Evreux hotel (aside from the breakfast) was a good one.
