“Great Hotel!!!”

This must be one of the friendliest hotels we have stayed in, everyone we encountered went out of their way to help with any queries, the room was clean and comfortable the only crticism if I had to make one would be the high prices for food and drinks, although we had breakfast each morning which was more than adequate we didn't venture to the dining room at night and to the bar only once simply because of the prices, it would be wise for anyone staying here to bring some snacks/tea/coffee provisions with them as there are no shops nearby to stock up. Buses run every few minutes to Disney which are invaluable.
The grounds are lovely and relaxing to walk around.
Be warned though the travel journey alone to this hotel can be costly from CDG airport, as it is right on the edge of Zone 6 on the transport map, we bought 2 tickets on the high speed train and it cost 19 euros each just for journey, then because we arrived at the hotel early we could not check in until four hours later, so having already bought tickets for Disney for 2 days later we went back to the train station to go into Paris (45 mins away) to have to buy anther 2 tickets at 29 euros each (paris Visite tickets) these were valid for two days for any train, metro or bus, we later found out if we had bought these at CDG we would have saved a lot of money as they are valid to and from the airport, so do your homework before you travel.
All in all we had a very pleasant stay and woould recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Disney but not for a trip to Paris alone as it would be very expensive to travel to and fro.

“Good Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2009

I have just returned from a three night stay at this hotel with my husband and daughter who is almost four. We had a great time and I am hard to please.

The good things : the hotel is very clean, spacious and quiet. We had a ground floor room at the front of the hotel and did not hear noise from neighbours, upstairs or the car park. The bunkbeds and surrounding curtain are a great idea and our daughter loved them. The breakfasts were more than adequate with a good choice to suit most needs. The staff were always helpful and polite. The shuttle bus seemed to run frequently but we only used it once as the hotel is a twenty minute stroll on a flat road from the parks and it was a lovely, stress free walk - recommended.

The not so good points : the toasters in both restaurants were awful and incredibly slow which is frustrating as a large queue builds up - please managers if you read this invest in a couple of new toasters !!! We were seated immediately for breakfast and the hotel was busy due to half term - so dont be put off by previous reports. The swimming pool was quite small, but after all you come here for the parks. However, we went for a dip after a long day and the pool temperature was freezing and uncomfortable - a little warmer would be great !!!

All in all we would certainly use this hotel again, would recommend to others. It was good value for money and considering they cater for the family mass market they do a great job !

“Expensive but pleasant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2009

A clean and nicely presented hotel but overpriced. A combination of positives and negatives really.
Positives
Very clean, comfortable, well maintained, l'Occitane toiletries, well positioned in a pretty setting, lovely outdoor area, polite staff.
Negatives
Ridiculously expensive, £7.00 for a glass of wine! Chaotic restaurant with mediocre quality breakfast and overpriced (£30 per adult) buffet dinner. Very limited free tea and coffee in the room, enough for 2 drinks and then you are charged. I would expect free tea and coffee in a 4 star hotel. Dreadful free shuttle service to the Disney parks, an overcrowded and dangerous bus service which really spoilt the experience every day. Also we had items removed from our room (we left our daughter's wet swimming accessories (armbands and goggles) in a bag on the bathroom floor and the maid "threw them away", we raised this and received no apology and were made to feel that it was our fault.
Remote control to the tv didn't work and the fridge was warm!

“Adequate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2009

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel . Firstly the good bits , hotel is very clean and staff are extremely courteous . But this hotel is relatively pricey for the quality of what you get ! . It is not ideal for very young children , no facilities for changing whilst in restaurants and my wife had to change our 5 month old on the floor of the disabled toilet with her floor mat.

On our last day the hot water wasn't working at the showers , called house keeping but i couldn't be bothered to wait for them us we needed to check out . I doubt it is cheaper than any of the rest of the hotels around disney though us i have stayed in 2 others .
overall i would only go back because the staff are polite which makes a difference in a foriegn land ,
