This hotel is a little isolated so I dont recommend staying here if you dont have a car. It is close to a pizza restaurant and a Buffalo Grill. On arrival at the car park, you go through one barrier, which then closes and you have to take a ticket from the machine before the second barrier will open. This ticket then has to be validated at reception before you leave in the morning. You then go through the same procedure to get out.
There was planty of parking and there are luggage trolleys in the entrance. Reception was very large, with lots of sofas, a football table and two computers for guests use. There is also a small kids corner with a games console and toys for the kids.
The receptionist was welcoming, but although her name badge indicated she spoke english, it was very sparse and she mostly spoke in fast french and we didnt really understand most of what she said to us. It didnt really matter, but we would of liked to have known hat the times were for breakfast etc., and it was hard to find the lift as the one near reception doesn't go to the third floor where our room was located.
We had booked a superior room. There are 3 types of room, standard, superior and executive. The superior room we had was of a good standard. Separate toilet, wardrobe area, bathroom with huge shower cubicle (no bath). Bathroom had a good hairdyer, bright lights for doing make up etc and a plug for straighteners. There was a small fridge, a kettle and a safe and each day a bottle of complimentary water was put in the fridge.
The bed was comfortable, with a quilt and nice white linen (very clean - I always inspect on arrival, I am a bit OCD) There is also a sofabed which is a very neat two single bed affair. You can pull them out individually, so its great if you only have one child, you still have a chair, but on the otherhand, if you have two kids, they each have their own individual beds so there will be no arguing. Also good if your kids are opposite sex. The sofa bed was already made up when I pulled it out. It had sheets and a thick blanket.
There was a standard hotel desk with the tv on and also a swing out section. The room was serviced nicely every day and everything replenished (tea, coffee and toiletries etc).
We had breakfast each morning and it was very nice. There was a hot selection - sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms and potatoes and a cold continental selection - meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs etc., There was a selection of fresh prepared fruits, cereals, plain and chocolate croissants, lots of different kinds of breads, waffles, pancakes, cakes and a fridge with different types of yoghurts and compotes. There was a self serve orange/apple juice machine and you could have tea/coffe/hot chocolate. The staff were very welcoming.
Overall a very pleasant stay and we would definately stay here again when in the area. Its only 10 miles to Disneyland and an easy drive.
