The hotel was ok nothing wow. Rooms were a good size but very outdated. The service was terrible, the staff rude and the food generally crap. Apart from remaking the beds with chocolate covered sheets (thanks to my 3 year old) housekeeping forgot to vacuum and dust the room. However, they did give a Mickey Mouse cuddly toy to compensate. But to expect people to pay exhorbitant prices for such substandard services is beyond me. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Overall a bad experience that will never be repeated.

it was well good at disneyland it was good fun. we went on lots of rides and the hotel was the top of all hotels in disneyland

If a trip to this hotel doesn't rank as one of your greatest hotel experiences you will ever have then I don't know what will. It is expensive, however you do get what you pay for; excellent service, fabulous rooms, great food, unbeatable location, amazing atmosphere. The feeling of privlege that you are staying in the premier hotel in Disney completes your experience, and you do get all the trappings of that privlege.
We have been to DLP 6 times since 2003 and we will be going for our 7th time in Jan 2010; we are MORE excited than our first time - we can't wait!!
This will be our 3rd time to stay at the DL Hotel, we stayed at the Sequoia Lodge 3 times (another great hotel) and in the Travellers Explorer hotel once (it was just ok, NOT the same as a Disney hotel). We cannot recommend this resort and the Disney hotels we have stayed in highly enough. Already dreaming of our 8th visit!

Out family M&D 1 x 3y.o 1 x 7y.o stayed at this hotel in early Oct 2009 and had an excellent experience. Arriving at 8am after a 22hr flight from Sydney is was great to hear that our room was ready. Bag drop, change of clothes and we were in the park within 20 min. The Hotel is basically part of the park so you can just step straight through a special entrance and you are there. Room was nice and big, everything worked. We travelled around Europe for 32 days and the Paris Disneyland Hotel had by far the best buffet breakfast. Staff were kind and courteous. Great pool and grounds. Did not need to book for any meals. October was a great time to go. Just at the start of Halloween so the part was all dressed up. We took a package deal hotel, park and breakfast which was the best value. Kids (and parents) loved it.
