We stayed at the Spire Cottage in Chichester on a last minute booking and are very glad they had a room available. Conveniently situated outside the main town but not far enough away that you felt miles from anywhere. We stayed in the Annexe which was lovely, especially as we had our own front door and garden area. Although the weather was atrocious the night we stayed we will certainly try and go back again in the summer to enjoy the garden at its best. Breakfast was superb (especially if you like smoked salmon and eggs). Fresh milk in the fridge and a pot of tea served in a teapot made it all the more delightful. The room was very clean and well appointed. Well worth a visit.
