An amazing room, fab location, warm welcome, a great breakfast and excellent value for money - what more could you want?

We booked the Spire at very short notice and still received a welcoming email from Jan prior to our arrival. On our arrival, we received a warm welcome from Jan, along with a pot of tea and the most amazing home made millionaire short bread, brought to our room. Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was again clean and functional, but with nice touches like towelling robes and beautiful bathroom products. Also when looking for somewhere to eat, Jan recommened a great pub a couple of miles away (Blacksmith Arms) which had a lovely atmosphere and great, local produce. The breakfast was really good - great quality ingredients as well as homemade jam and marmalade. We would highly recommend every aspect of our stay at Spire Cottage and are already talking about going back another weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Spire Cottage. The owners were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was so quaint and the bathroom was really luxurious. We loved our bedroom view of the fields. The breakfast was very good. The local pub, The Spotted Cow is just 2 min walk (we had a really good meal there). If you stay here you must walk to Chichister along the canal its so lovely and it only took 40 mins.

Spire cottage is an excellent place to stay.A friendly greeting on arrival from Jan who offered us the guest annexe.What a great space....fresh flowers, fluffy towels,full size toiletries and a welcome pot of tea and cake ! Breakfast was delicious with home made jams and preserves. A beautifully clean, light and airy dining room with proper linen napkins! A real treat.We will certainly visit again.
