It was convenient for us as we were visiting people in the area and were only staying for one night. The entrance/exit to the motel is on a sweeping bend on a busy road so getting in and out is a bit of a hazard. It looks as though the rooms are gradually being painted and refurbished. Our room was clean but pretty basic. Staff friendly and helpful.

The motel looked dodgy, but being the only one around(that we could find) had no choice but to stay. The tariff was $125.50, to which my husband hopefully asked"does that include breakfast?"Of course not. The room seemed clean, and relatively quiet but the facilities were woeful- old TV with dodgy reception, bathroom in bad repair, wobbly table etc.
All we want is a decent room & bed without feeling ripped off.
We concluded that the motel takes unfair advantage of the unwary and passing travellers, with no other choice.
A disappointing end to a few days away in such a beautiful part of NSW.

This motel is the only motel on road from stanwell tops to outskirts of Wollongong. No money has been spent on maintaining property, rooms are dirty, carpet lifting, filthy, bed shocking, Paid $115 for double room - worth $70 at best. Staff helpful enough and location good (if on main road), but still not worth staying here.

This is a fairly old, run down motel on the main road in Thirroull, and is noisy particularly if you are not lucky enough to have a room at the back of the place.Beware also,as only a few rooms have air conditioning, but still beware if yours is one of them. Two rooms away my friends did have an A/C unit, but no remote control. My mate next door also had A/C AND a remote control, but the batteries had gone flat. I had a/c and a working remote control- of sorts, but for some reason the temperature didn't keep cool so when I went to adjust it, I couldn't see as the lights didn't work!. I couldn't get extra pillows as the staff had left for the night. It should have been priced right down at the botom end of the market- it wasn't and there is far better accommodation in Wollongong for about the same price.
