Art hotel is located a short walk away from the train station. We got a room for 65 euros a night, and thought it was good value for money. The location is also close to the main town of Chambery. The rooms are big enough for 2 people and the staff is helpful. Recommended hotel if you're visiting Chambery.

Located only a 2 minute walk from the train station, the Art Hotel is perfect for those using Chambery as a base for exploring the Alps or like us, using Chambery as a transfer town.
The room was large and clean and the staff nice and friendly. Breakfast was a little ordinary, some eggs on offer would be nice.
Would stay here again if I'm ever back in Chambery.

Right next to the bus station and railway. In the town centre.I asked for a room high up facing the road and this was very quiet and light with glimpses of the hills. The other side of the hotel faces the railway. This is a 2 star hotel so not luxurious but we were very comfortable and nothing was too much for the staff, who were happy to speak French or English and actually asked which I preferred, which was great as I like to practise French. I would stay there again. chambery is beautiful and a visit to annecy on the train is recommended.

I stayed in the Art Hotel for two nights while visiting Chambery and Vallee Pierre d'Entremont. After arriving by rail, I walked immediately to the Art Hotel-a few blocks from the station and arranged a room for two nights. The room was clean, cheap and had a view(hard to miss from any vantage point)of the massif Mount Grenier. I did not mind the noise of the trains coming and going. On Saturday, there was a great open market only a 5 min. walk away. The Art Hotel is a good place to hang your hat.
