This is a lively family run property. It has bungalows and rooms in the main building. Breakfast is lively by lovely pool and no screaming kids although a haven for the snooty oldies....I would have prefered the kids!
Seems that clients here have been returning for years as my parents did until the prices became that of a 5* place...the food was not bad, but poolside lunch turned out to be double what you'd pay in a small taverna. I recommend The Dolphin Bar in Alsankak.
Cheap, great food and they are more than happy to drive you home.
Don't hire a car through the hotel...walk into town and go straight to the car hire places there. Much cheaper especially out of season...high season will need to be pre booked. Bungalows are tiny but fine for two. Lots of steps to climb to some of them and remember Hideaway is truely hidden....at the top of a long steep hill.
We would return if they had good offers but I'm sure that with so many regular clients they probably don't need to. By the way, the staff are lovely, make sure you tip!!
