“Beautiful views and perfect accommodation for able bodied adults”

This is a lively family run property. It has bungalows and rooms in the main building. Breakfast is lively by lovely pool and no screaming kids although a haven for the snooty oldies....I would have prefered the kids!
Seems that clients here have been returning for years as my parents did until the prices became that of a 5* place...the food was not bad, but poolside lunch turned out to be double what you'd pay in a small taverna. I recommend The Dolphin Bar in Alsankak.
Cheap, great food and they are more than happy to drive you home.
Don't hire a car through the hotel...walk into town and go straight to the car hire places there. Much cheaper especially out of season...high season will need to be pre booked. Bungalows are tiny but fine for two. Lots of steps to climb to some of them and remember Hideaway is truely hidden....at the top of a long steep hill.
We would return if they had good offers but I'm sure that with so many regular clients they probably don't need to. By the way, the staff are lovely, make sure you tip!!

“Simply the best!”

My partner and I retreat here as often as we can, we just love it. We have just returned from our 3rd visit this year. The surroundings are tranquil and the scenery is breath taking. Whether you want to lay by the pool and do nothing or visit Kyrenia or Bella Pais locally you will not be disappointed. If you do want to see the area then we recommend that you hire a car, driving is on the left and the roads are in good condition. The staff are friendly, sincere and cannot do enough for you. All the rooms have a fridge, kettle, tea/coffee hairdryer and ac all a great asset to any holiday accommodation. The overall cleanliness is first class. Whether you stay 2 weeks or a weekend you will not be disappointed. Our thanks to all the staff this season for making our stays fantastic.

Room Tip: All rooms have showers only a few have a bath. Take a look at The Hideaway web site which gives you...

“"Great"”

We've just booked for next year for our 8th trip to the Hideaway and we're really looking forward to it. The Staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous. The Rooms are generally fine for this standard of hotel and, apart from the balcony for breakfast and sundowners we spend very little time in the room anyway. The food is fine and the bar is very reasonable - for a hotel.
The pool area is lovely, though the pool is not heated and can be a bit chilly early in the season.
So much has been said about location. If you get a car it's close enough to the new by-pass (but not so as to be noisy). It's high enough to get spectacular views of the coast and the mountains and it takes about 10 minutes in a taxi (which any of the staff will order for you) to get to the harbour in Girne.
There are loads of good restaurants in the area and again the staff will happily advise you where to go.
I guess the thing about the Hideaway is that there are no children and it is generally quiet. We meet people there that we see time and again at this hotel. I think they have a repeat rate of over 80% - which speaks for itself. They only have 30 odd suites so you do see the same people each day.
Overall it's a very relaxing break for us. We don't go charging all over TRNC sightseeing but use it simply to 'fly and flop' and that is what this place is so very good at. It's family owned and run by them, so if you have any problems they are fixed straight away - one wonders if some of the reviewers ever mentioned their problems whilst they were there, we've had a couple (usually to do with plumbing) and they have always been fixed immediately.
I find the hotel's website to provide a true reflection of what the place is like - just go and relax.

Room Tip: Room 7 is a favourite with many regulars.

“Amazing Vacation Spot- Perfect for Relaxation”

This hotel is nestled in the mountains and if you were feeling particularly uninterested in exploring you would be happy just sitting, eating and drinking in this beautiful boutique hotel/resort. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly! The food was good, the drinks were delicious, andthe view was amazing almost every point at the hotel. If you walk up the mountain you will find a beautiful expat village and down the mountain you will find the harbor with great bars and restaurants. They brought breakfast to our room each morning which we ate on our ocean view terrace. It was a perfect was to start the day! The hotel had a huge selection of books to borrow as well as WIFI internet around the pool and in the dining room area. I was very sad to leave at the end of our week long stay and will definitely return to the beautiful Hideaway Club Hotel.

Room Tip: Go in October...they have a deal because it is the beginning of the off season! The weather is stil...
