Crazy Americans, we had been running all over Ireland trying to catch as many sights as we could in our two week stay. By the time we arrived at Nellie Dees, we were ready for some down time. There were six in our party, and we took up three of Jimmy's four guest rooms. It was just what the doctor ordered, the rooms were immaculately clean and tidy. I agree with one of the other reviewers that the rooms were tiny, but, hey...who stays in the room? We were able to walk to a couple of the pubs down the street and stagger home again without much ado. We stayed at Nellie's for two nights, took a trip to the Aran Island of Inisheer (wonderful trip), saw the Cliffs of Moher and had a grand time. Jimmy said people come to Nellies to "chillax" which is somewhere between chillin' out and relaxing. Whatever it is, it worked. Nellie's and Doolin were a special part of our trip to Ireland.
