I visited Doolin three years ago with a friend of mine.
It was August, when the weather is at its best and there are no rooms available in every b&b you search.
I found and caught a twin room in this farmhouse almost casually: though it has a website, is not that famous.
Well, let's talk about this accomodation.
The farmhouse overlooks the tiny doolin village, the pier and the beach, being very close to a path with breathtaking seaviews.
5 min. walking distance from the main street and pubs so you can easily reach them.
Walking to cliffs of moher is quite easy, you just have to follow the road and turn right at the crossroad. Reaching them gets about 100 min. walking normally (you could always do the return by bus).
Rooms are clean, tidy and spaciuos enough, mine had an amazing seaview too.
Breakfast was the best i had in Ireland (and i stayed for 2 weeks only in b&bs): tasty but not heavy.
Hosts had a totally genuine sense of hospitality, without that business-minded thing you often feel.
They did anything they could to make us comfortable.
So, we really felt like home like nowhere else.
Try it.
